New Dining Options in the Monty-P

Tonight begins Chef Vinny Petrarca’s new menu at Positive Pie 2 in Montpelier – stop in to check out the new bar, new layout, and updated menu items like a pork chop with fried polenta cake and apple and and onion slaw, or Greenfield Highland Beef steak served with sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts roasted in bacon, sage and brown butter. The Black Door reopens tonight with a new menu courtesy of new owner Ignacio Ruiz, formerly of Tasca in Plainfield. Ruiz brings touches of his native Spain to the restaurant, which will serve dinner until midnight and tapas until 2 a.m. Wed-Sat, and brunch on Sunday.
